From St John’s to Toronto in winter in a $50,000 EV

On Feb 7th I finally got my hands on a new Ioniq 5. Two weeks later, I was about to set off on a 3,000km trek to my relatives in Toronto to prove that it could be done — not in a Tesla or another high end EV but in a standard range crossover EV. All did not go as expected… (but Spoiler Alert — I made it!)
